Spirits on the Rocks is happening on May 16th at Green Town on the Rocks in Waukegan, and you’re invited to one of the most scenic, spirited runs of the season.

We’ll kick things off on the lakefront, head down Sheridan, and visit the historic grounds of Oakwood Cemetery — resting place of early Illinois leaders, judges, mayors, and community trailblazers. Then it’s back to Green Town for a lakefront celebration.

What’s included: • Food for all registered participants • Post‑run drink specials • Food truck on site for spectators + anyone who wants more • Custom county sticker + collectible bib • And of course… a county‑themed Spirits Run medal • A beautiful, meaningful 5K route through Waukegan’s history
